1. How do I get started?

After checking that your computer meets the minimum requirements, we recommend that you then create an account. Please ensure that you keep a record of your password somewhere safe.

Once you have created your account, simply click play now to load up the game. Once the game has loaded you will be asked to login. If you can't login, please check that your login details are correct and check your firewall settings. If possible, you might also want to try accessing from a different machine.

You can play as guest instead (no login required) but you won't be able to chat with other players or save your score in guest mode. Registration is completely free and we do not send unsolicited commercial email.

2. How do I play?

The aim of the game is simply to play 10 overs, scoring as many runs as possible and the least number of outs. Once you have chosen a team, you will enter the main part of the game. When the ball is bowled, click on the flashing arrow to strike the ball (you need to be as accurate as possible in your timing).

If you successfully hit the ball you will be given the opportunity to aim where you would like it to go. To do so, simply click somewhere on the map and choose how many runs you would like to try for. The fielders are indicated by green circles.

3. How do I change my avatar icon?

Type one of the following commands into the chat input box to show support for your favourite team.

4. How do I find out who's logged in?

Type the following command into the chat input box to find out what registered players are logged in:

/who

5. Is CoverDrive free?

Yes, CoverDrive is completely free! It is presently supported by advertisements on the website.
